Founding member: what does that actually mean? (And once they’re gone, they’re gone)
Remy & Kev
When we announced De Vechtclub, we made a promise: the first twenty members to choose the High Kick membership become founding members. No discount, just eternal glory and our gratitude. Since then, people keep asking us what that actually means. Here you go.
What does a founding member get?
- A spot in the founding members group chat: have your say on class times and where the club is headed.
- Your own founding member merch to show off.
- A Polaroid of you with Remy or Kev on the club’s wall of fame.
- And the Zaterdagmiddagclub, our Saturday afternoon club: one hour every quarter that’s never the same. Though, to be fair, that comes with every High Kick membership, founding member or not.
Why only twenty?
Starting a club is the most exciting part. Anyone who says, “I’m in,” right then gives us more than membership dues. They give us confidence and a flying start. That deserves something money can’t buy. And glory works best when you don’t hand it out to a hundred people.
Update: once they’re gone, they’re gone
Our twenty spots went faster than we dared hope. All founding member spots are taken. Thank you, pioneers. Soon, you’ll appear Polaroid by Polaroid on the wall of fame.
Just missed out? Don’t mope for too long. The High Kick membership is still available, including the Zaterdagmiddagclub, and you’ll share the biggest perk of all with the founding members anyway: a club that exists thanks to you. Start by dropping by for a free trial class, and you’ll soon see why everyone wanted in so early.
