Terms and conditions
These terms apply to trial classes, memberships, and classes at De Vechtclub. We like to keep things clear: you should know what to expect before you start training.

1. Who we are
De Vechtclub B.V., located at Achtergracht 66A, 1381 BP Weesp. KvK 42086937, btw-id NL869648500B01. Contact: hoi@devecht.club.
2. Trial classes
Your first three trial classes are free and without obligation. They do not commit you to anything and will not automatically turn into a membership. We only arrange a direct debit or membership after you choose to sign up. This offer can be used once, for no more than three trial classes per person, and you must schedule all three classes within two weeks of your first class.
3. Memberships, personal training, and single classes
- Sidekicks (kids, 2× per week): €39 per 4 weeks.
- Lowkick (2× per week): €49 per 4 weeks.
- Highkick (unlimited): €59 per 4 weeks.
Memberships have a minimum term of 6 months. Your membership is personal and cannot be transferred. Prices include VAT (btw) and are paid in advance per 4 weeks.
Commit for longer and you get a discount: 10% for 1 year and 15% for 2 years. If you choose this option, that period becomes your minimum term. After your minimum term, your membership continues indefinitely and you can cancel it monthly, as explained below.
Personal training is 1-on-1 with a trainer of your choice, subject to availability, for €75 per hour. You pay De Vechtclub per session; it is not a membership and has no minimum term. You can also buy a 10-session package with a 10% discount: it is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can only be used for personal training. Sessions and session packages are paid for in advance, per session or package, not through the recurring membership direct debit.
You can cancel a personal training appointment free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel later or do not show up, we will charge you for the session or deduct the session from your package.
You can attend group classes with a membership or through ClassPass. If you want single group classes, you can buy them through the Gymly widget on our site. Session packages cannot be used for group classes.
We will honor existing arrangements for members transferring from the previous gym, as individually confirmed.
4. Payment
Payment is made in advance per 4 weeks by automatic SEPA direct debit, processed through our membership software Gymly and payment provider Mollie. You authorize De Vechtclub to collect your membership fees by direct debit.
If a direct debit fails, we will first send you a payment reminder giving you 14 days to pay. That reminder will also state any collection costs. Only after that may we temporarily suspend your access or charge statutory collection costs.
5. Term and cancellation
After your minimum term, your membership continues indefinitely and you can cancel it at any time, with a notice period of no more than one month. Canceling is just as easy as signing up: through the De Vechtclub app or via hoi@devecht.club. We do not require a registered letter or unnecessary formalities.
You cannot cancel during the minimum term, except during the cooling-off period, when pausing as described below, or if the law gives you an additional right to cancel.
6. Right of withdrawal (online registration)
If you sign up online or in the app as a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period to withdraw your registration without giving a reason. You can do this through the withdrawal option in Gymly once it becomes available, or by emailing us within those 14 days.
If you ask us to let you start training within those 14 days, and then withdraw, you will pay a prorated amount for the period during which you were able to use the membership.

7. Pausing
If you are injured or taking a sabbatical, you can pause your membership once per calendar year for up to two months with De Afhouder, our membership pause. You do not pay membership fees during the pause, and your minimum term is extended by the length of the pause. We do not ask for a diagnosis or medical details; a short explanation is enough. Arrange your pause in the De Vechtclub app or via hoi@devecht.club.
8. Classes and schedule
The class schedule, trainers, and class formats may change. An adjusted schedule may apply on public holidays and during vacations. We will do our best to communicate changes in good time through the app and our channels.
9. House rules and sparring
The club has rules for conduct and hygiene: clean indoor shoes or bare feet on the mat, respect for each other and the trainers, and following all safety instructions. You train sober and safely; aggressive, intimidating, or dangerous behavior has no place here.
Sparring is optional, light, and always supervised by a trainer. A trainer may refuse or stop your participation if needed for safety.
If you seriously or repeatedly break the house rules, we may deny you access or terminate your membership. We will act proportionately and explain why.
10. Liability
Kickboxing is a contact sport. You train at your own risk for the risks normally associated with training, technique, bag work, and light sparring. You are responsible for making sure you are medically fit to train; if in doubt, consult a doctor first and discuss any limitations with the trainer beforehand.
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We do not exclude liability for damage caused by our intent, deliberate recklessness, or failure to meet our duty of care. We are not liable for lost or stolen property unless otherwise required by law.
11. Photos and videos
We love showing what we do: almost every class ends with a short video for our channels, at a predictable moment announced by the trainer. Prefer not to be on camera? Tell the trainer and step out of the shot; it will never affect your membership. We only use recognizable images on social media, the website, in the app, on the wall of fame, or in print with separate, voluntary consent, which you can withdraw at any time. If something is posted online that you are not happy with, we will take it down right away.
We only share footage that shows you in a good light. We never film trial class attendees or participants in one-on-one sessions such as Parkinson's training. For members under 16, we ask a parent or guardian for permission; without that permission, we only film children in ways that do not make them identifiable.
12. Kids and minors
For members under 18, a parent or guardian must enter into the membership agreement or provide verifiable consent. The parent or guardian is responsible for payment and provides the SEPA authorization.
13. Price changes
We may change our prices and will notify you at least one month in advance. If we raise the price for a reason other than a VAT (btw) change or legal requirement, you may cancel at the end of your current payment period.
14. Personal data
We handle your data with care. You can read how we do that in our privacy policy.
15. Complaints and governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you have a complaint, let us know at hoi@devecht.club. We would be happy to work it out together. If we cannot, you may bring the matter before the court with jurisdiction under the law.
