Terms and conditions
These terms apply to trial classes, memberships, and classes at De Vechtclub. We like to keep things clear: you should know what you are signing up for before you start training.

1. Who we are
De Vechtclub B.V., located at Achtergracht 66A, 1381 BP Weesp. KvK 42086937, btw-id NL869648500B01. Contact: hoi@devecht.club.
2. Trial classes
Your first three trial classes are free, with no strings attached. They do not commit you to anything and will not automatically turn into a membership. We only set up a direct debit or membership after you choose to join. This offer is available once, for up to three trial classes per person.
3. Memberships, personal training, and drop-in classes
- Sidekicks (kids, twice a week): €39 per 4 weeks.
- Lowkick (twice a week): €49 per 4 weeks.
- Highkick (unlimited): €59 per 4 weeks.
Memberships have a minimum term of 6 months. Your membership is personal and cannot be transferred. Prices include VAT (btw) and are paid every 4 weeks in advance.
Commit for longer and you get a discount: 10% for 1 year and 15% for 2 years. If you choose one of these options, that period becomes your minimum term. After your minimum term, your membership continues indefinitely and you can cancel it monthly, as explained below.
Personal training is one-on-one with the trainer of your choice, for €75 per hour. You pay De Vechtclub per session. It is not a membership and has no minimum term. You can also buy a 10-session pass with a 10% discount. It is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can only be used for personal training. Sessions and passes are paid in advance, per session or per pass, not through the recurring membership direct debit.
You can cancel a personal training appointment free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel later or do not show up, we will charge you for the session or deduct it from your session pass.
You can join group classes with a membership or through ClassPass. For drop-in group classes, buy your spot through the Gymly widget on our website. Session passes cannot be used for group classes.
We will honor existing arrangements for members transferring from the previous gym, as individually confirmed.
4. Payment
Payment is made every 4 weeks in advance by automatic SEPA direct debit, processed through our membership software Gymly and payment provider Mollie. You authorize De Vechtclub to collect your membership fees automatically.
If a payment fails, we will first send you a payment reminder giving you 14 days to pay. That reminder will also list any collection costs. Only after that may we temporarily suspend your access or charge statutory collection costs.
5. Term and cancellation
After your minimum term, your membership continues indefinitely and you can cancel at any time, with a notice period of no more than one month. Canceling is just as easy as signing up: use the Gymly app or email hoi@devecht.club. No registered letter or unnecessary hoops required.
You cannot cancel during the minimum term, except during the cooling-off period, when pausing as described below, or if the law gives you an additional right to cancel.
6. Right of withdrawal (online signup)
If you sign up online or in the app as a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period in which you can cancel your signup without giving a reason. You can use the withdrawal option in Gymly once it is available, or email us within those 14 days.
If you ask us to let you start training within those 14 days and then withdraw, you will pay a prorated amount for the period in which you were able to use the membership.

7. Pausing
If you are injured or taking a sabbatical, you can pause your membership once per calendar year for up to two months with De Afhouder, our membership pause. You do not pay membership fees during the pause, and your minimum term is extended by the length of the pause. We will not ask for a diagnosis or medical details. A short explanation is enough. Set up your pause in the Gymly app or through hoi@devecht.club.
8. Classes and schedule
The class schedule, trainers, and class formats may change. A modified schedule may apply on public holidays and during vacation periods. We will do our best to announce changes in advance through the app and our other channels.
9. House rules and sparring
The club has rules for conduct and hygiene: wear clean indoor shoes or go barefoot on the mat, respect each other and the trainers, and follow all safety instructions. Train sober and safely. Aggressive, intimidating, or dangerous behavior has no place here.
Sparring is optional, light, and always supervised by a trainer. A trainer may refuse or stop your participation when necessary for safety.
If you seriously or repeatedly break the house rules, we may deny you access or terminate your membership. We will respond proportionately and explain why.
10. Liability
Kickboxing is a contact sport. You train at your own risk when it comes to the normal risks of training, technique work, bag work, and light sparring. You are responsible for making sure you are medically fit to train. If in doubt, consult a doctor first and discuss any limitations with the trainer before training.
Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We do not exclude liability for damage caused by intentional misconduct, deliberate recklessness, or failure to meet our duty of care. We are not liable for lost or stolen property unless the law provides otherwise.
11. Photos and video
We love showing what we do. Almost every class ends with a short video for our channels, at a predictable moment announced by the trainer. Prefer to stay off camera? Tell the trainer and step out of the shot. It will never affect your membership. We will only use recognizable images on social media, the website, in the app, on the wall of fame, or in print with your separate, voluntary consent, which you can withdraw at any time. If something is online that you are not happy with, we will take it down right away.
We only share footage where you look good. We never film trial class participants or people in one-on-one sessions such as Parkinson's training. For members under 16, we ask a parent or guardian for permission. Without that permission, we only film children in ways that do not identify them.
12. Kids and minors
For members under 18, a parent or guardian must sign up for the membership or provide verifiable consent. The parent or guardian is responsible for payment and provides the SEPA authorization.
13. Price changes
We may change our prices and will give at least one month's notice. If we raise the price for any reason other than a VAT (btw) change or legal requirement, you may cancel at the end of your current payment period.
14. Personal data
We handle your data with care. You can read how we do that in our privacy policy.
15. Complaints and governing law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you have a complaint, let us know at hoi@devecht.club. We would much rather work it out together. If we cannot, you may take the matter to the court with jurisdiction under the law.
